Nominations Now Being Accepted for Community Legends and Culture Counts Awards

“Oshawa has an incredibly vibrant arts community with artists and performers from many and varied fields of expression. Now is your chance to nominate an artist or arts organizer whom you believe has made an impact on the quality of life in Oshawa. We should celebrate what we have. The arts make our quality of life and community better,” said Councillor Rick Kerr, Chair of the Community Services Committee.

OSHAWA – The City of Oshawa is now accepting nominations for the annual Community Legends Award and Oshawa Culture Counts Awards. Nominations for both recognition programs will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14.

Recipients of the Community Legends and Culture Counts awards will be presented with their awards at a Council meeting in spring 2020.
