Nuclear Trade Mission To China

Nuclear Trade Mission To China

The Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC), in collaboration with the Organization of CANDU Industries (OCI), and Atomic Energy of Canada limited (AECL) invites you to participate in a nuclear trade mission to China from March 22 to March 31.  This trade mission will give 10 companies the opportunity to get an up close, first-hand experience into the Chinese nuclear market.

Begin in Beijing, delegates attend the 10th annual China International Nuclear Industry Exhibition (NIC) and will be provided with Presenting Status.  Companies will be able to display brochures and product information as well as attend the technical seminars organized by AECL.   From Beijing, the mission moves to Shanghai for site visits at nuclear power plants and additional meetings. Overall, mission delegates will have the opportunity to meet with businesses, industry and government officials, to make those connections and gain current market intelligence that their business needs.

Please see the attached mission flyer and registration form.  If you are interested, the deadline for registrations are Friday February 26, 2010.  We should also note that for qualifying companies, the OCC will be able to assist you with the costs under the Export Market Access program, our 50/50 cost sharing grant program (www.exportaccess.ca).
