Daniel Arbour: Championing Sustainable Energy
Daniel Arbour currently serves as the President and CEO of Oshawa Power & Utilities Corporation. With a Bachelor’s degree in International Commerce and an MBA from Queen’s University, Daniel brings over 18 years of leadership experience focused on building high-performance teams and managing change. Under his guidance, Oshawa Power has been at the forefront of delivering sustainable energy solutions to our community, reflecting his unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
Shemeka Massiah: Advocate for Financial Empowerment
As the Managing Partner of Tax Assist Accountants Canada, Shemeka Massiah, CPA, has dedicated over two decades to assisting small and medium-sized businesses in navigating the complexities of accounting and taxation. Her passion for financial literacy and empowerment has been instrumental in fostering economic growth within Oshawa and she has also delivered outstanding free learning content to our members via recent lunch and learn opportunities. Shemeka’s commitment to community development is evident through her active participation in local financial education initiatives, where she shares her extensive knowledge to uplift and support our business community.
Wendy Weber: Dedicated Community Leader
Wendy Weber, embarking on her third successive term on our Board, continues to be a pillar of strength and dedication. With a rich background in marketing strategy, honed through her role at Metroland, Wendy has been pivotal in supporting local businesses through economic shifts and evolving marketing technologies. Her involvement extends beyond the Chamber’s board as she also actively contributes to our Oshawa Tourism and Events committees, playing a crucial role in strategic marketing and event planning.
