May 11, 2016 – Oshawa’s Labour market has dramatically improved over the past year, according to a new report card from BMO. Oshawa is now in first place amoung Canadian cities in the labour market performance ranking.
That places Oshawa up 27 spots from last year. Oshawa’s upemployment rate is at six percent, decreasing it one-point-six precent. It looks like the low loonie, falling oil prices, and increases in exports have benefitted the city.
