OSHAWA – The City of Oshawa will receive $4.012 million in COVID-19 emergency assistance funding as part of the federal-provincial Safe Restart Agreement.
The relief funding will assist the City with financial pressures and help ensure that we continue to provide critical services and programs to the community as we safety and gradually reopen our city.
Under the Agreement, funding will be allocated to municipalities in two phases, with the City receiving $4.012 million in funding in phase one to directly support COVID-19 operating costs and financial pressures.
