TANK SATURDAYS   • May 9 – October 17
Visit the Ontario Regiment RCAC Regimental Museum on the first Saturday of each  month from May through  October to see  live demonstrations of the Museum’s operational historic armoured fighting vehicles from Canada and its Allied Forces. You won’t have a better  opportunity to see  or hear these  vehicles up close and in person.  The museum is located just west of the main entrance to the Airport’s South Field.
Location: 1000 Stevenson Road North, Oshawa Admission: $5.00 per person. All ages welcome. Demonstration Times: 11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.

SUMMER CONCERTS  IN THE PARK (FREE)  • June 3 – August 27
A  FREE  Outdoor   Concert  Series   at   Memorial  Park   Bandshell   on Wednesday &  Thursday  evenings  throughout  the  summer.  Listen to the sounds of opera,  country, rock, Rock n’ Blues,  and  jazz music.  Visit the websites for schedule and times.

11TH  ANNUAL PEONY FESTIVAL • June 13 – 14
Located  in the heart  of the beautiful Oshawa Valley Botanical  Gardens, this free event  displays  300  types  of Peonies  in the gardens and  100’s more in Children’s Arena. Artisans, live music, food, gardening  seminars, community displays and more are all part of this remarkable flower festival.

16TH ANNUAL ARTISTS IN THE GARDEN  • June 20
The Annual “Artists in the Garden”  is a tour of beautiful gardens featuring local artists  selling their work and musicians  playing music, while people stroll through  the  gardens. All  proceeds benefit  Hearth  Place,  Durham Region’s only Cancer Support  Centre.

 41ST  ANNUAL  FIESTA WEEK  • June 21 – 27
A Taste  of Durham!  Visit various  pavilions during  the  week-long  event in Oshawa where  people  are  able  to watch  cultural entertainment  and sample  ethnic  cuisine.  A passport is required  for entrance and  can  be purchased at all pavilions.
Admission: Pavilion passports: Adults $8.00, Seniors $4.00
Children 14 and under are free (when accompanied by an adult) Fiesta Parade (June 21st) starts at 12:30 p.m. in downtown Oshawa.
