In his fifth\u00a0video message<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to the community on the COVID-19 pandemic, Mayor Dan Carter urges everyone to continue to do their part to reduce the spread of coronavirus by practicing physical distancing and limiting gatherings, washing their hands frequently and often, and following the recommendations of health officials.<\/p>\n

Join Mayor Carter on Instagram Live weekdays at 5:00 p.m. \u201cLive at Five\u201d with Mayor Carter airs weekdays at 5:00 p.m. on the City\u2019s Instagram account (@cityofoshawa<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n

Questions and stories can be shared during the Live, or emailed in advance to\u00a0Mayor@oshawa.ca<\/strong><\/a>. Follow the City on\u00a0Instagram<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0now and turn on all notifications for Live videos to receive an alert when the Live begins.<\/p>\n

Community members are also invited to share their stories and photos illustrating the spirit of Oshawa and acts of kindness amid COVID-19 on social media using #OurOshawa.<\/p>\n
