On January 30th, 2023, The Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce submitted a letter to City of Oshawa Clerks showing support for the proposed Pilot Program outlining an interim exemption from additional licensing fees as included in Report SF-23-07.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

At the Oshawa City Council meeting of February 27th, 2023, council received the letter as further information and voted unanimously to approve the dual initiatives of a comprehensive bylaw and permitting review, as well as a temporary pilot project to simplify permitting for certain use cases, especially and notably Short Term Food Shop and Peddler Licenses<\/span><\/p>\n
