Registration now open for virtual City summer camps

OSHAWA – The City of Oshawa is excited to announce the launch of its new virtual summer camps, Camp2You Live. Camp2You Live provides campers the opportunity to engage, interact, and socialize with peers and camp counsellors while participating in camp games and activities adapted for the virtual environment.

Camp staff look forward to connecting virtually and bringing the fun of camp home to community members this summer. The new virtual format allows the City to offer campers a unique summer camp experience that will continue to foster the development of lifelong skills and create lasting friendships from the comfort of the camper’s home.

Camp2You Live will run weeklong sessions for the duration of July and August for those aged 4 – 16, with specific program offerings catered to each age group:

·         Ages 4 – 6: Day Camp Junior offers fun camp activities;

·         Ages 7 – 13: Arts Camp, Dance Camp, Day Camp, Kids Fit Camp or S.T.E.M camp; and,

·         Ages 13 – 16: Counsellor-In-Training for youth looking to develop skills to become a future camp counsellor.

Inclusion services are also being offered for campers who benefit from one-to-one support at no additional cost.
