On August 21, 2014 Bob Malcolmson CEO & GM of the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce attended a Minister of Transport consultative roundtable session in Markham with senior key business stakeholders. The Honourable Lisa Raitt, P.C., M.P., updated the group on the department’s progress on the development and management of the Pickering Lands and to listen to any further views on this topic. In attendance were business leaders from the GTA Airports including Hamilton, Kitchener Waterloo, Billy Bishop Buttonville and the GTAA. Also representing the air carriers were Porter, Air Canada and Westjet as well as representatives from various industry associations.
