Nov. 14, 2014 – The 5th Durham Economic Prosperity Conference (DEPC) held on November 14th in Ajax featured a number of high caliber speakers including the Hon. Chris Alexander, Canada’s Citizenship and Immigration Minister and MP for Ajax-Pickering, speaking on behalf of the Hon. Gary Goodyear, Minister of State for FedDev Ontario. The Conference highlighted three key economic areas for Durham Region: nuclear energy, automotive and the movement of goods.
