City adds outdoor market to summer event line-up

OSHAWA – Community members are invited to Market Squared, a new program hosting artisans, food vendors, farmers and more in downtown Oshawa. Each week will look a little different for attendees, featuring different activities and community businesses and organizations. For example, free lawn games, yoga and a painting class are all scheduled on separate days during the first month of the program.

Market Squared will take place in the North Parkette at City Hall (just south of King St. W. and Centre St. S.) and will be held every Wednesday from June 20 to October 3 between 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Space is still available in the program, with both full- and partial-season options. Artisans, community groups and vendors who are interested can submit an application to City staff at their convenience.
