Ep. 003 – Ivano Labricciosa on The Future of Internet-Powered Business

The Internet is enabling businesses in ways that would have shocked and surprised most of us even as recently as ten years ago.  From farms to breweries, more and more operators are becoming reliant on Internet-connected devices (IOT, Internet of Things) to add scale, efficiencies, and precision to their operators.  One thing they all have in common is the need for a fast, reliable Internet connection and Ivano Labricciosa is the man with the hookup.

Ivano is currently President & CEO at Oshawa PUC Networks and Durham Broadband and Durham Broadband is currently rolling out a new fibre Internet service throughout the OPUC network.  (He also happens to be the 2022 Vice President of the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce Board Executive.)  In this episode, Ivano talks about the exciting new and future ways that the Internet enables business, beyond e-Commerce.
