Melanie Warren, President of Warren’s Printing Place Inc.
I am a long time Durham resident who has always enjoyed being active in the community. I have established many long term clients and friendships through my business.
Warren’s Printing Place does more than just put ink on paper. We have an award winning graphic design department and recognize that print needs to be part of a mix of online and mobile technology. Our passion is to deliver quality products and services that help our customers grow their business and stand out from their competition
Our company was founded by my parents, George and Lucy Warren, in 1983. At that time my father’s job was eliminated as a result of a downsizing at an age that he was not ready to retire. The economy was in a recession and there were not many job opportunities available, so they made the brave decision to start their own printing business.
Our first location was in Oshawa and in 1989 we moved to our current location in Whitby, at which time I joined the company to do the sales and marketing. In the beginning we primarily provided printing services but we soon incorporated graphic design services and over the years have continued to update ourselves in order to remain current and meet the changing needs of our customers.
